Game Rules
1. Aim of the game
Managers enter a lobby for a real football fixture, draft eligible footballers and earn Fantasy Points (“FP”) from verified match events. The manager with the highest final FP ranks first. The in-app scoring table shown before and during the fixture is the detailed scoring schedule.
2. Lobby entry
- The fixture, DC entry, maximum of 11 managers, draft time and prize format are shown before confirmation.
- A reserved entry is charged once. Repeated requests must not charge twice.
- Private lobbies use a unique code and host controls. Public lobbies use a unique lobby ID, have no controlling host and do not use Ready buttons.
- A player may not use multiple accounts, collusion or automation to manipulate a lobby.
3. Scheduled public drafts
Available draft times run at five-minute intervals from one hour before kick-off to five minutes before kick-off. A public draft starts automatically at its scheduled time. A 30-second loading countdown gives joined managers time to enter the draft.
If verified line-ups are not available at the scheduled time, Drafted checks during a five-minute grace period. If line-ups arrive, the draft starts; otherwise the lobby closes and reserved entries are returned. A lobby with fewer than two managers also closes and returns entries.
4. Drafting
Managers draft from verified starters and substitutes displayed for the fixture. Picks are exclusive within that lobby. The current manager has the displayed pick timer. If time expires, auto-draft selects an eligible player using that manager’s saved pre-draft order and then the available fallback order; special cards owned for an eligible footballer must be recognised by auto-draft. A selection may be cancelled only while the interface offers Cancel and before it is committed.
5. Live scoring
FP follows verified provider events and the published position-specific scoring table. Home and away teams follow the official fixture record. Goal-conceded and clean-sheet calculations use the player’s eligible time on the pitch. Corrections from the data provider can change live or provisional scores.
The ordinary x2 power-up does not multiply a clean-sheet bonus. Where a card-specific rule says otherwise, that exact disclosed rule controls.
6. Substitutions
A manager may use the substitution controls only during the allowed window and must confirm the replacement. The outgoing footballer’s score is locked at the swap time and the incoming footballer begins contributing from zero. A verified line-up correction may provide a separate free correction as displayed in the lobby.
7. Power-ups and special cards
- Base power-ups: x2 for 10 minutes and Freeze for 10 minutes, subject to the live screen.
- Rarity x2 durations shown on cards are Common 15 minutes, Rare 20, Epic 30 and Legendary 45 minutes/one half.
- Positive and negative qualifying events inside an active x2 window are multiplied, except the clean-sheet exclusion above.
- Freeze remains a separate 10-minute power-up.
Star Signings: the card automatically awards +5 extra FP for every separately recorded qualifying action:
- Successful tackle
- Assist
- Chance created
The exact actions applicable to each Star Signing are displayed on that card. Star Signings pack guarantees and pack odds are shown in the Store.
European Nights: the position-specific qualifying actions and any defender point-steal ability are displayed on each card. Eligible bonuses are applied as match events are processed; any limits and duration shown on the card apply.
8. Rankings, ties and prizes
Players rank by final FP after verified events and corrections. Winner Takes All awards the full displayed DC pot to first. Top 3 awards 60%, 30% and 10%. Tied positions split the DC allocated to the occupied places equally; indivisible residual DC is allocated by ascending recorded lobby seat number. The final screen must show the award actually recorded in the wallet ledger.
9. Postponed, abandoned, missing or corrected fixtures
A lobby may be voided where the fixture, line-ups or reliable scoring data are unavailable. Void or underfilled pre-draft lobbies return reserved DC once. A match postponed before kick-off remains pending until a new time is confirmed or the lobby is voided. An abandoned match is not finally settled until the football authority and data provider confirm whether the match result and events stand. If events cannot be verified reliably, the lobby is voided and its DC entries returned. A replay is a separate fixture unless the competition authority treats resumed play as the same match.
10. Packs and the Collection Book
Each pack displays its DC price, card count, guarantee and rarity percentages before opening. A guarantee is a minimum and does not prevent a higher rarity. League packs guarantee Rare or better. Random selection is performed by the controlled backend. Duplicate protection may slightly prioritise unowned eligible players but does not promise a new player. Base cards supplied to every account are excluded from packed-completion percentages.
11. Weekly rewards
Every eligible 18+ UK player account automatically enters the weekly FP leaderboard running from Tuesday 00:00 through the following Tuesday 00:00 UK time, as displayed. The eligible non-master account with the most FP wins the displayed DC prize. The prize can change each week. Drafted master, test and disqualified accounts cannot win. If FP is tied, most wins ranks first, then fewer games played, then the earliest qualifying result. The prize is credited after the window closes and final eligible results are processed.
12. Finality, corrections and disputes
Live scores are provisional. Results become final when the fixture is marked complete and the settlement process records standings and awards. Drafted may correct a verified provider, mapping, arithmetic or technical error and will retain an audit trail. Report a scoring or wallet issue to drafted@mughal42.com with the fixture and lobby ID; do not include passwords or login codes.
13. Purchases and refunds
Optional DC and Premium Pass purchases are governed by the purchase, cancellation and refund terms. Buying DC does not guarantee a lobby win, particular random pack contents or a cash prize. Returning a void lobby entry means returning DC, not automatically refunding a separate Stripe purchase. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Public lobbies may contain automated Drafted Bot accounts, identified by a DB badge with an explanation on their profile and a disclosure before entry. Bots may draft, score and win displayed DC prizes. They are not human users and cannot win the weekly player reward.
